Graphite on paper, 16 x 20". The original was created for James 'Wiz' Wisnieswki, the gregarious defenceman for the Chicago Blackhawks of the National Hockey League, and was created by Jerry Tibstra. "Small in stature, maybe, but 'wiz' guts it out every game. I drew this while he was recovering from total knee reconstruction, and I tried to embody the tough look of perserverance in these images. Wiz fought his way back from the knee injury and is one of the most colorful characters I've met in hockey!"
