Graphite on paper, 18 x 24". Tony 'O' or Espo as he was often called, anchored the Chicago Blackhawks from his rookie year to his retirement. "Not only was Tony Esposito the inspiration for a lot of my artwork as a boy, he was the style and standard I set for myself as a goalie! In his youth, Tony's look and attitude (only on the ice!) reminded me of a young Elvis Presley. That may have been true of a lot of young men at his age, but I wanted to immortalize that particular look and convey the nostalgia of that era for many of us, so why not do it and immortalize my idol at the same time?"
